Pre-Owned Gibson Les Paul Supreme - Fireburst With Gig Bag

For those who want to go beyond Standard there is this Gibson Les Paul Supreme! This is pinnacle of what a Les Paul can be with exceptional specs and build yet still maintaining the core elements of what makes a Les Paul.  It's a unique one that we haven't seen before, and not only does it look amazing, it plays extremely well and of course sounds great.

This Gibson Les Paul Supreme features a gorgeous flame maple top with a luxurious Fireburst finish that blooms out nicely to showcase the wood grain.  The top is detailed with 5-ply binding. This Supreme is only bound on the front, not the back.  The entire back of the guitar is a sleek black.  The mahogany body has been chambered for reduced weight and enhances its resonance. it won't break your back either - it comes in at a relatively light 7.9 lbs.

The set mahogany neck features super comfortable SlimTaper profile with a bound ebony fingerboard. The fingerboard features a compound radius from 12" to 16" for a comfortable reach up the fingerboard and is adorend distinct split-block mother-of-pearl inlays in the tradition of the LeGrand and Super 400 archtops. The bound headstock features a distinct inlay, Gibson logo inlay, and "Les Paul Supreme" truss rod cover. 

It has a the 490R, an Alnico II magnet pickup for plenty of smooth vocal tones in the neck position, and the 498T, an Alnico V pickup that is  slightly hotter with emphasis on mid-ranges and highs. Easily control your sounds with individual volume and tone controls.

This is an exquisite guitar that is perfect for fans of gold hardware. It features a gold tune-o-matic bridge with gold stopbar tailpiece, gold pickup covers, gold Grover tuners, and gold-topped controls knobs, and gold strap buttons.  That's a lot of gold, fitting for a Supreme.

The guitar is in good condition with some normal player wear, mainly on the back with dings and scrapes, but nothing obscene.  The top is pretty clean, with a few marks and finish scratches, but again nothing major.  It came to us with a gig bag, not the original case.  All of these leads to the price point it's at, with everything taken into account.
