Used And Vintage Electric Guitars

GMP's Pawn Shop line features a single cutaway with a sleek refreshing look that is styled with a sharp florentine, which adds a little touch of sassiness to the shape. The cosmetic details of this guitar are beautifully executed in all models, with the finest of finishes down to the richly harmonic tones.  This guitar has a great throaty warm tone, along with a tight midrange that complements its delivery with its full sound; also comes with chambering and F hole option that adds even more harmonics, which explains why it was a favorite of Gilby Clarke.

Speaking of Guns N Roses....

We were told that this guitar was previously owned by Duff McKagan and has "Duff" etched in the wood rim under control plate.  We verified that the name is etched there....but we cannot verify is was THE Duff that did it!

What we can say is that it's a great playing guitar with a cool vibe, and killer tone.  A 25.5" scale, 1.6785" nut width, 22 jumbo frets and simplified control layout makes this feel very familiar and easy to utilize.  It has a mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard.  This one stays in tune well and is a really smooth playing guitar.

Much of the tone is thanks for the Bare Knuckle Emerald humbucker.  Punchy mids and crisp bottom-end give this Alnico V powered humbucker a distinctive blues-rock character with great attack.  The moderate output allows for a more open and clear high-end compared to hotter pickups, especially when used with high amounts of preamp gain. Plain enamel hand-wound coils keep the bottom-end tight and controlled while maintaining presence in the highs with excellent pick articulation and sweet harmonics. Clean tones are tight and percussive with a clean edge to the front of each note.   When used with overdrive the Emerald will saturate really well, never sounding dark or losing definition, producing a hard-hitting crunch tone.   We don't have info on what the neck pickup is, but we do know it's a great sounding single coil pickup that is perfect for both clean and dirty playing.

This is in "used with a ton of character" condition.  As in, it's been naturally relic'ed!  There's a lot of wear, which adds to the vibe.  Be sure to check out all of the photos to see everything.  The guitar has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop and comes with a gig bag.  You don't see many of these around, so grab it before it's gone!
