From the Cavern Club to the many stages, studio, and homes worldwide the Hofner Bass is an absolute icon. This is the highly affordable version of this classic bass.  We don't see a lot of these coming in on the previously owned market, and this is a great one, especially for the price.

What you get is a super lightweight hollow body bass that gives you a deeply resonant instrument that is well-known for its thumpy bass tones.  Its violin body shape gives you plenty of access to the fingerboard. The neck has a slim contour that fits comfortable to your hands. This violin bass comes with two pickups for a great variety of tones to choose and easily selectable via its tone switches and volume and tone knobs.
 
This Violin bass is in excellent condition - it came to us from one of our favorite sources, as he keeps all of his gear in top notch shape and super clean.  It's been set up to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  As an added bonus, the bass comes with a hardshell case.  
 
There is a reason why this bass has become a legend played by such musical greats as Paul McCartney.  If you want a particular sound, there's only one way to get it, and that's by playing a Hofner like this one!
