Pat Metheny is one of the most respected and innovative guitar players and has been a loyal Ibanez player for over twenty years, and now you can enjoy one of his signature instruments with this Ibanez PM3C Pat Metheny signature hollow body on a great deal here. This guitar features a classic jazz pickup and high-quality craftsmanship and components to give you an incredible hollow body.

The Ibanez PM3C features a fully hollow spruce and maple body that gives you excellent acoustic resonance and clarity perfect lead lines and chord work, and jazz fusion. Its three-piece maple/nyatoh maple neck comes with Pat’s signature PM profile with a bound ebony fingerboard with distinctive inlays. The PM3C features Ibanez’s Artstar fret-end treatment, which smooths and rounds the fret edges which leads to a comfortable playing experience. 

The PM3C is fitted with a single PM Special pickup that captures the characteristic of 1930s Charlie Christian pickups. The guitar’s PM Special pickup honors the early electric jazz guitar heritage, modeled after one of the first pickups in jazz history. Its vintage tonal warmth is further enriched by the fully hollow body, which lends a resonant, singing voice to the instrument.

This guitar is top notch with its gold-highlighted elements, including a floating TOM-style bridge, trapeze tailpiece, and reliable tuners, making the PM3C versatile enough for both traditional swing and contemporary fusion styles.
