Pre-Owned King Snake Soulville Brown Sunburst with Gig Bag

We just took in a very interesting guitar that you won't see everywhere - this one is super cool.  The King Snake Soulville is a boutique, Japanese-made solid-body electric guitar built to emulate the airy, acoustic resonance of a hollow-body. We had never seen one before and started to fall in love as soon as it came through the door.

It features a lightweight hemlock body, an ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and a thick but very comfortable mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard.  The tone comes from a  a custom "Soulville-Foil" neck pickup (gold-foil style) that brings vintage sounds to the forefront, with enough bite to stand out in the mix.  You get a volume and tone control, and that's all you need!  The custom retro-style/trapeze tailpiece and wooden bridge definitely stand out on this guitar.  And, it's super light - the guitar weight just 5.5 lbs.

Some would say this is acoustic guitar trapped in a electric guitar body.  Hemlock is a unique wood to use - you rarely see it.  It's soft and porous, allowing the guitar to breathe easily and resulting in a raw, woody sound.  Just as you may expect.  But it's not just that, this guitar can rock out.  We discovered that as soon as we hooked it up to a fuzz pedal and turned up the amp.

The guitar is in excellent condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  A gig bag is included.  This is quite the find!
