Pre Owned Peerless Tonemaster Custom Burgundy Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar With Gig Bag

Peerless is a top notch brand that started originally as a subsidiary of Fujigen, one of the most respected guitar manufacturers out there.  In 1970, Peerless Guitars Co was born in South Korea.  While making guitars for Fender, Gibson, Gretsch and others, it established itself as a respected name in the guitar world.  Over the years, we've seen only a few come in, and have always been impressed.  This one is no exception.

The Tonemaster Custom is the upscale version of the Tonemaster JH Special. It comes with all solid woods and a set of amazing sounding Filtertron pickups. This is a fully hollow, double cutaway body made of solid maple back & sides, and solid spruce top. The 17-inch size will be comfortable for any fan of Gretsch and other similar guitars.  

The body is double-bound in exquisite abalone, along with the bound "f" holes on the carved top. The bridge on this Tonemaster is a tune-o-matic with a rosewood base, paired with a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece. Pickup combo consists of two humbuckers. A three-way toggle and 4 controls give you the ability to dial in the exact tone you want.  It has a super comfortable C shaped neck made of maple, topped with a rosewood fretboard. It comes with 20 frets, split block inlays and a 1.69" wide string nut.  A gloss finish in ultra-sleek Burgundy color with gold hardware really makes this guitar stand out.

The guitar is all original, and comes with the original gig bag.  The condition is excellent - it appears that the previous owner barely played it, and at the least, took great care of it.  The guitar has been vetted and setup by the techs in our shop to play perfectly.  It's a great score at and affordable price - we don't expect it to last long.
