Pre Owned Silvertone 1449 Reissue Red Silver Flake Burst
We just took in a nice Silvertone 1449 Reissue - while we specialize in higher end guitars, we love getting little players like this that are budget friendly.
The 1449 Amp-in-Case from Silvertone, introduced in 1963, quickly became one of the most successful of its kind due to its affordability and ease of use. Sporting a 5-watt (later, 6-watt) tube amp, users could simply open the case, stand it up, switch it on and play. Featuring a single-pickup, short-neck body, the 1449 is renowned for its powerful sound. The 1449 was eventually replaced by the 1457 in 1964, however, it remains one of the most sought-after guitars of its era. This reissue version is a super cool guitar for those that want the vibe in a very affordable package.
It's in excellent condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. A nice Silvertone gig bag is included. This is a great score!
