Pre-Owned Supro Delta King 8 Tweed with Black Stripes Guitar Amp Combo

If you're looking for a little amp with a whole lotta tone, we just took in a winner for you!

The Supro Delta King 8 is a 1-watt, all-tube Class A combo built as a modern tribute to the low-wattage Supro amps that were made in Chicago in the mid-1950s. It's a single-channel amp meant to be played hard at a volume you can actually use at home.

The circuit is simple and tube-driven: a 12AX7 in the preamp and a 12AU7 dual triode in the power section. Most modern tube amps use EL84 or 6V6 power tubes, so the 12AU7 is part of what gives this amp its vintage, mid-century character at apartment and studio levels. The speaker is a 1x8" custom Supro DK8.

Controls are Volume (preamp gain), Tone and Master Volume, plus an analog Boost switch that adds input gain for thicker blues grit or heavier crunch. The boost can also be switched with any standard single footswitch through the jack on the amp. The line output is placed before the master volume, so you can crank the preamp for distortion with the speaker kept quiet, send the whole tube preamp direct to an audio interface, or use the amp as a tube overdrive into a bigger rig.

The cabinet is poplar in a tweed finish with black stripes. It measures about 13" x 13" x 7" and weighs 15 lbs., so it's easy to carry to a session or a rehearsal.  This Supro amp is in great condition and is ready to go.
