Used 1985 Fender 1962 Reissue Telecaster Custom 3-Tone Sunburst With HSC

Here we have another winner on the used guitar market - and it's a hard one to find.  This is a made in Japan Tele from back in the mid-80's, 1985 to be exact, as part of Fender's reissue series.  

While the 80's found many brands (including Fender at times) trying to "modernize" the guitar electric guitar with pointy shapes, bright colors, locking tremolo systems and a variety of pickup configurations, at times it was the simple throwbacks that proved to be most desirable in the long run.  This is a great example of that.

This 1962 Reissue Telecaster Custom is as simple as it gets, and it's 3-Tone Sunburst finish evokes the early years of rock-n-roll.    We were lucky enough to take this in recently, and everyone here was in love with the easy playability and overall vibe.  It has a very smooth playing neck, and sounds exactly like you'd want a 60's Tele Custom to sound - perfect cleans, with enough bite to cout through the mix.

The amazing thing about this guitar is it's condition: it's near immaculate for a guitar that's 35 years old.  Whomever had this previously appears to have barely ever played it, if it all.  And, it weight just 7.6 lbs.

The guitars comes with a hardshell case (non-original) and just been professionally setup by our techs, including a full electronics cleaning (usually needed on guitars of this age).
