Used 2002 Gibson SG Standard Ebony With OHSC

Experience the literal standard of one of the greatest guitars ever made with this Gibson SG Standard in Ebony! This 2002 Nashville-made instrument brings you everything you want from this menacing tone machine. 

The iconic SG double-cut mahogany body is lightweight and resonant with warm tones. It has a striking Ebony gloss finish. The double-side full-face 5-ply black "Batwing" pickguard is especially stylish and menacing. The set mahogany neck feels great in the hands with its comfy rounded '50s "C" profile which is a bit thicker than the later '60s ones. The neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius with 22 frets and traditional mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. 

Experience the power of its dual Alnico humbuckers. You get a high-output Gibson 490R in neck for thick rhythm tones and a 498T in the bridge for plenty of attack. This SG is great for clean tones but really shines with gain. It's no secret why the SG has been a go to for heavy music. Easily find your sounds with individual volume and tone controls for each pickup with a 3-way selector. 

There's plenty of great hardware on this SG that makes it iconic. The stopbar tailpiece and tune-o-matic bridge unite to bring you excellent sustain and intonation. You'll stay in tune with ease with its Gibson Deluxe tuners with tulip buttons.

This guitar is in great condition with some honest player wear but nothing major.  It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, and comes with its original hardshell case.  This is a serious score!
