Used 2004 Fender MIJ Classic Series 60s Telecaster Custom TL62B 3-Tone Sunburst with Gig Bag

Many serious Fender fans opt for the Made in Japan models, as they are know for extremely high build quality and serious bang for the buck.  This 2004 Classic Series 60's Telecaster Custom is a great example of that.

It's a Japanese-made vintage reissue featuring a double bound body in a gorgeous 3-Tone Sunburst finish.  The specs we found notate an alder or basswood body but some early versions used ash - that's what this one looks like.  The rock solid maple neck has a very comfortable "C" profile, period correct for the early 60's.  It's topped with a rosewood fretboard that has a vintage correct 7.25" radius.  

The key feature is the factory installed Bigsby tremolo - with that, there are a lot places you can go as you get as expressive as you want.  The hardware is rounded out by a vintage style bridge and tuners.

The extra bonus in this case is that the bridge pickup has been upgraded with a Seymour Duncan ST59-1 Little 59 Tele Pickup.  brings a full-bodied, P.A.F.-style humbucker sound to the bridge position of a Telecaster while fitting into a standard single-coil route.  So, you're able to get whole another palette of sounds out of this guitar that you normally wouldn't.  The neck pickup is stock, so you can still get some of that old school 60's Tele tone.

The guitar is excellent condition, especially considering that it's over 20 years year.  The previous owner took good care of it.  There's some honest player wear but nothing major.  Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, it's ready to go for another 20 years!
