For those of the higher register, 8-string persuasion here's this fantastic Eastman MD605 Mandolin in the Classic finish. This is a great mandolin that offers quality tonewoods, impressive construction, and ear-pleasing tones. All of this with the flexibility of being an acoustic electric mandolin.
This Eastman MD605 has a beautiful resonant A-style body made with carved maple back and sides with a spruce top. This tone wood combination gives you vibrant tones that fill the air from its "F"-holes. The maple neck is sturdy with a comfy neck profile, bone nut, and a ebony fingerboard. The bound fingerboard comes with a 12" radius, 23 frets and block inlays. The black pickguard is a nice touch and compliments the classic finish. You'll stay in tune with a set of Pingwell tuners. The adjustable compensated ebony bridge provides stability and sustain with warmth. Plug and play with its K&K Duotone pickups bringing your acoustic mandolin sounds alive for wherever you want to.
