Used Fender 1990 Made In Japan Precision Bass Lyte Frost White With Gig Bag
Channel your inner Lyte with this Fender P-Bass Lyte! This is a bass you don't see very often, especially in this color. It stems from 1990, a great year. Why was it a great year? Well, for starters, Nelson Mandela was freed, the Hubble Space Telescope launched, Germany reunited after 45 years of separation, and Ritual de lo Habitual by Janes Addiction was released. Not only that, but also The Fresh Prince of Bel Air first aired on TV in 1990 (RIP Quincy Jones). Back to the bass....
This Fender P-Bass Lyte was made in Japan and features a smaller modern lightweight body shape with a smaller 34 in. scale and a P-J pickup configuration. The Fender P-Bass Lyte has the Pickup Pan knob which lets you choose the amount of tone from each of the two pickups. This bass features a Basswood body paired with a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard.
You get four control knobs with a Master Volume, Pan, Bass Boost/Cut and Treble Boost/Cut. Having both a P-Bass and J-Bass pickup gives you a wide range of bass tones to choose from and these are active pickups that have a passive setting.
This bass is in good condition and comes with a gig bag. It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, and is ready to go!
