Used And Vintage Electric Guitars

We have your the cream of the Gibson Custom Shop hollow bodies, the Historic Reissue ES-335 in a beautiful "Light Burst" finish. Utilizing actual scans of vintage ES-335 and listening and sampling of its tones have led to the development of this fine instrument.  The expert craftspeople at Gibson Custom Shop have rendered every contour, profile, inlay and color of the priceless vintage models in magnificent detail. The result is a playing and ownership experience that will keep you coming back for more.

The 1959 Reissue models feature rounded cutaways, Medium C-shape neck profiles scanned from originals, dot inlays and vintage-replica parts.  This particular one has been outfitted with Seymour Duncan humbuckers - an Antiquity in the neck position, and a JB in the bridge.

The Antiquity neck humbucker delivers an articulate, yet mellow tone that results from a perfectly balanced frequency response that combines a soft, sweet treble attack with a warm, full sounding low-end. The custom aged Alnico 2 bar magnet creates an airy openness to the top-end that gives chords clarity and articulation, while the vintage output coils really bring out the rich harmonic content. Single notes have a beautiful singing quality with just the right amount of treble emphasis.

The SH-4, known as the JB Model, is Seymour Duncan's most popular pickup of all time, and for good reason.  It's a modern classic.  Whether it's for hard rock, country, blues or fusion, the JB has always sounded just right, even as new genres emerged around it. The low end is full and powerful, the highs are crisp and detailed and there’s an upper-midrange bump that adds crunch and chunk to heavy chords but translates to a singing, vocal-like quality when you play single notes or solos. Meanwhile the hot output pushes your amp just that little bit harder for more sustain and harmonics.

This guitar is in excellent condition, comes in the original hardshell case and includes the Certificate of Authenticity.  It's a unique ES-335, in a color rarely seen, and upgraded with some great pickups.  It's been setup by the techs in our shop to play perfectly.  For those that are serious about getting a killer ES-335 that's not like every one else out there, the hunt has ended.
