This was/is a new guitar that we have here, original shipped from Jackson to Truetone.  It has never been previously owned.  We recently noticed there is a finish crack in the neck pocket (see photos - hard to see, because it's a very minor thing).  So, for that, we marked it down and are making it a great deal.

The American Series Virtuoso features an alder body with a contoured “hand-shake” heel for ergonomic comfort. Its five-piece caramelized maple/maple neck, reinforced with graphite rods, ensures exceptional stability up to the 24th fret. The streaked ebony fingerboard offers a 12-16" compound radius with rolled edges for comfortable chording and shred. Luminlay side dots enhance fret visibility in low light, while a heel-mounted truss rod adjustment allows quick neck tweaks.

You get a HH pickup setup that includes a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 bridge pickup delivering aggressive tone and a Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1N neck pickup with clear treble and scooped mids. Controls include a five-way blade switch and dome knobs for volume and tone. You get premium hardware with a Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo for tuning stability, Gotoh MG-T locking tuners, and Dunlop dual-locking strap buttons. This guitar also comes with a color-matched, bound pointy headstock with black hardware.

So if you want a guitar worthy of the shred legacy of Jackson, this Jackson American Series Virtuoso is the one. It's in near perfect condition and comes with its original hardshell case.  This is a great score.
