Used Veillette Avante Gryphon High-Tuned 12-String Acoustic-Electric Softshell Case

The Veillette Avante Gryphon is built with a solid spruce top with maple back and sides. It features a luxurious Tobacco Burst finish for the top. The top has two unique crescent soundholes. This Avante Gryphon brings you sparkly, chimey, chorusey highs, with an excellent midrange. This is a high-tuned instrument is tuned D to D but an octave up from standard tuning. The range of this instrument makes this a great alternative to other instruments like the bouzouki, mandolin, mandocello, Cuban tres and cuatro. This instrument is a perfect compliment to other guitar parts on the stage or in the studio. The Avante Gryphon has a comfortable mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The 18.5" scale is ultra comfy as well with the entire instrument being 32.5" long. It is incredibly versatile with its Piezo transducer pickup with active preamp to expand your tonal possibilities. The Gryphon we have here is in good shape and clean. We did notice a small surface crack on the top (see photos) but it's stable and not an issue.  The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly.  The original soft case is included as well.  For those that want something different, on a good deal, this is a good score!
