Used And Vintage We just took a great vintage acoustic, straight out of 1977, the year that Elvis died (supposedly, according to some).  But it's also the year that Saturday Night Fever came out - and when Post-It Notes were introduced.  And, it's when Guild built this D-25 in Westerly, Rhode Island.

It's a classic dreadnought acoustic, boasting a solid spruce top, an unbraced arched laminated mahogany back, creating a full and warm sound.  It's powerful for sure, with very strong projection thanks to the design - the distinctive arched back functions like a speaker cone.  The mahogany neck, with a slim C-shape profile for comfort, is topped with a rosewood fretboard featuring pearl dot inlays.  You get a scale length of 25.5 inches and a nut width 1-11/16 inches.  It's the type of guitar you won't let go of.

This one was crafted during Guild's esteemed Westerly period, which has a reputation for producing high quality guitars that are long-lasting and built for the road.  This D-25 is a good example of that - it's made it's way through the world for nearly 40 years, and is ready for 40 more.  The guitar is in good shape, with just the right amount of honest player wear and aging to give it a great vintage vibe.  It has been vetted and setup to play perfectly the the techs in our shop.

The original hardshell case is included, and this Guild D-25 is ready to be on the road again!
