The AD26e offers a variety of sounds between acoustic & specialized tones. Its unique low-end voice provides the perfect depth for accompaniment and brings extra flavor to the table. This model is ideal for guitarists looking to diversify their musical approach & great for vocalists to enhance their sound.

Appointments include a solid Neo-tropical mahogany top, solid sapele back and sides, satin-finished body, smooth body edges for comfort and playability, and Taylor’s ES2 electronics for a clear and true amplification of the instrument.  A Taylor AeroCase is included for added protection.

The Taylor Grand Symphony has a larger, more rounded lower bout and a wider waist than the Taylor Grand Auditorium, allowing for a larger soundboard that produces an increased tonal output. It is ideal for those looking for an instrument with a deep low-end, ample volume when strumming or flatpicking, plus articulate nuances with light fingerpicking.
 
Mahogany's strong fundamental with minimal ringing overtones provides a natural compression with gradual note blurring for a pleasing, balanced response. When combined with sapele, this tonewood pairing yields an earthy sound with crisp focus and distinct clarity.
 
At the heart of the Expression System 2 electronics is Taylor’s patented behind-the-saddle pickup, which has three precisely placed, individually calibrated sensors. This design ensures that the bottom of the saddle is held in full contact with the bridge, allowing for maximum sound quality when playing either acoustic or plugged in. The unique location of the sensors captures a wider range of sound than ever before when plugged in. Together with Taylor’s custom-made pro-audio preamp, this system guarantees a highly amplified tone and superior responsiveness. The Expression System 2 is great for performance, recording software, or acoustic amps, and its 9-volt battery compartment and user-friendly volume and active bass/treble controls make it a breeze to use.
