The Fano Alt de Facto RB6T is a vintage-inspired electric guitar that combines the best features of classic models with modern craftsmanship and custom pickups. Each instrument is hand-built by one builder in Scottsdale, AZ, using premium tone woods and aged hardware.   This one was spec'ed out together by the head of Truetone and the head of Fano, collaborating to create some guitars that hadn't been done before.  This RB6T, in a super cool Fire Glow finish, is a one of a kind instrument.

Light and quick, this curvy beauty is made to respond to the touch. This semi-hollow guitar will be easy to keep strapped on all night - it weighs just 6.4 lbs.  Reminiscent of guitars of the past, it's vintage inspired but with modern playability.  You don't see many Fano RB6T's out there, and this is the only one out there exactly like it.

The uniquely shaped Alder body and Maple neck are built for comfort as well as speed. The RB6T incorporates a 24.75" scale length, compound radius (10 - 16"), and an Late 50's Roundneck profile that will feel comfortable and familiar in your hands. Typically you'll see this mode with a Rosewood fretboard, but this one is Maple.  We chose to have the body done with a Light Distress, but the neck with a Medium Distress.  That gives the guitar a vibe of one that has existed for decades, cared for meticulously but also played extensively.  We love how Fano does the wear, especially on the neck - it has that "play in" feel that's so desired.

We went for a new twist on this RB6T, choosing to do it with Lollar Gold Foil pickups, at the suggestion of Fano's Graham Dowling.  They create a distinct tonal character and clear upper-end harmonics, so much so that many guitarists, including Ry Cooder, have taken them out of vintage instruments for an organic, untreated sound. Lollar Gold Foils are meticulously crafted reproductions of Teisco® pickups found in older import and student guitars, but with improved durability and less susceptibility to feedback.

Other features include Gotoh Vintage "Fano" Kluson-style tuners, a TonePros T.O.M. bridge and Stoptail tailpiece, and Gold Plexi pickguard.  Also, as an added bonus, this one comes with a deluxe G&G hardshell case.

Come to Truetone Music to give it a try, or order right here right now before it's gone!
