Vintage 1974 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Heritage Cherry Sunburst With OHSC

Why go standard when you can go deluxe, with this Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in a beautiful Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish.  More so, why not go vintage with a killer guitar from the mid-70's?  In great shape with the finish intact, playing perfectly, this is a serious score.

1974 was the last full year of mahogany neck production before Gibson switched to maple.  This guitar has a mahogany neck, and by all indications, it's from 1974.  Which of course is also the year of the Rumble in the Jungle, the premier of the TV show Happy Days, and the invention of Post-It Notes.

You get the standard appointments of a maple top with a resonant mahogany body. This one features a slimmer profile mahogany neck with 22 frets. This Les Paul beckons you with the power of two mini humbucking pickups giving you the thick growl while bringing a bright edge to your tone. Individual volume and tone controls gives plenty of tones to dial in.  The mini humbuckers produce a well-balanced sound with clear definition and strong impact. A combination of humbucker and single coil tones, the pickups' tonal qualities are amplified by the maple and mahogany body design, resulting in a balance of warm and bright tones. Whether snapping and sparkling in the high register or remaining tight and focused in the bass register, each position on the three-way pickup selector offers a distinct tone.

The Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish has aged niced over the years - it's hard to believe this instrument is around 50 years old!  There's some slight player wear of course but not much.  The color is super vibrant, including on the back of the neck.  Be sure to check out all of the photos.

This guitar is in good condition, all original, and comes with it original hardshell case.  It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  We have a feeling that it will be going fast!
