A One of a Kind Custom 24

The Custom 24 is the original PRS. Since its introduction, it has offered a unique tonal option for serious players and defined PRS tone and playability.  There have been many here at Truetone, but few that stood out like this one - not only is it a one-off custom color, but it also features smoked black hardware and an ebony fretboard.  As soon as we saw it, we knew we had to have it.

The Custom 24 by PRS is an iconic instrument renowned for its high-quality craftsmanship and performance. It made its debut in 1985 at PRS Guitars’ first Winter NAMM show and since then, has been a top choice for players.  This model boasts PRS's patented Gen III tremolo system and precision-engineered PRS 85/15 pickups with volume and tone controls and a 5-way blade switch. The 85/15 pickups were meticulously designed by Paul Reed Smith himself to deliver exceptional clarity and extended range in both high and low frequencies.

The color on this 10 Top Custom 24 is Violet Fade Smokewrap Burst, in a high-gloss nitro finish, which looks amazing on the flame maple top.  It's dark, so it was a hard one to photograph, but came out great.  It's even better in person.  If you want additional photos, just let us know and we'll be happy to supply them.

Another unique feature is the ebony fretboard, which you rarely see on a Custom 24.  It's a perfect match for this guitar.  Also, PRS used smoked black hardware to further add to the uniqueness.  Combined, all of this makes it a very special guitar.
