Up for sale is this incredible archtop, the Gibson Howard Roberts Custom from 1976. The color is Burgundy, which is quite rare - you won't see many of these around. You definitely won't see many in such good condition as this one.
- 7-ply bound arched maple laminate body
- 3-piece flame maple neck with solid rosewood fretboard
- Abalone vine haestock inlay and logo; pearl split-block fretboard inlays; engraved tailpiece; custom ebony bridge with mother of pearl foot inlay

- Master volume, separate treble and bass tone controls, and black barrel knobs.

This is an incredibly versatile instrument with its unique soundhole design. This guitar features a "D" profile on the neck and is easy to play without fatigue. As expected, it sounds super clean and rich. Plugged in, you get the full sound, which you'll immerse yourself in and not want to put it down. This beautiful wine finish, the most elusive for the model, was only made in limited numbers and was on the market for a short period Don't pass up the opportunity to possess this distinctive and coveted item.
The guitar is in excellent condition considering it's age, and setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. The bridge was moved some years ago and then put back in place, evidenced by marks on the body. We currently have it strung with flatwound strings, but can put whatever you want on it. The original hardshell case is included. We don't see it lasting long - get it before it's gone!
