This is a very rare Hofner 459-VTZ that was a top of the line model in the 60's, most famously used by The Beatles. This guitar is in very good condition for its age. It is completely functional with minor cosmetic wear such as checking lines. The Hofner 459-VTZ is a very fun and cool looking guitar, total retro vibe! Includes original hardshell case.
The 459-VTZ, a counterpart to the legendary Hofner violin bass. Made in West Germany and features hollow body construction and built-in Fuzz and Treble Booster circuits, AND THEY WORK!!
