The Custom 24 Piezo is a 24-fret solidbody guitar featuring piezo pickups that deliver both traditional humbucker tones and true acoustic sounds within a single instrument. It boasts classic PRS features such as a figured maple top, mahogany back, a 25” scale mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard, PRS’s patented Gen III tremolo, and Phase III tuners with wing buttons. This distinctive guitar is an essential companion for musicians in the studio, songwriting sessions, and live performances.

The Custom 24 Piezo features PRS DMO treble and bass pickups, meticulously crafted by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS New Products Engineering team. Drawing from extensive research into classic vintage pickups and leveraging advanced signal analysis and tuning technologies, these pickups embody the culmination of PRS’s recent R&D expertise. The DMO pickups offer a “wide open” tonal character with vocal clarity, providing clear and balanced sound across the full frequency spectrum from bass to treble.

This model includes the classic volume, tone, and 5-way blade switch, along with a 3-way selector that enables switching between or blending the magnetic pickups and piezo electronics. Featuring two output jacks, players can connect to electric or acoustic amps or directly to a soundboard. The separate blend control allows the PRS DMO pickups’ tones to be mixed with piezo acoustic sounds through a single output. Offering an expansive tonal palette, the Custom 24 Piezo is an ideal versatile instrument for musicians of all styles.

The mahogany body delivers rich warmth and sustained resonance, complemented by a maple top that adds visual elegance and a subtle brightness to the sound. The Pattern Thin mahogany neck offers a comfortable, fast-playing profile, finished with a rosewood fretboard featuring a 10" radius and signature PRS bird inlays.

Phase III tuners equipped with Wing buttons provide exceptional tuning precision and effortless adjustment. The PRS patented tremolo system delivers a wide range of expressive playing capabilities. Hybrid hardware enhances the guitar’s aesthetic with a sophisticated finish.
